An intangible cultural heritage exhibition, which runs till Aug 30 in Xi'an, is showing people the artistic aspect of flour paste, which is made into vivid and colorful zodiacs, flowers and birds, fairies, flour paste towers and so on.

Many large works of dough modeling, a traditional handicraft in Xi'an, are on exhibition with pictures, texts and videos, which help people get a better understanding of the history of the art.

This exhibition has opened up a new way of integrating culture and tourism, which provides a platform for communication, exhibition, innovation and development of the technique.

It will promote the traditional handicraft and fuel its development in the new age.

As a cultural welfare project in Xi'an, the exhibition provides visitors with free tickets. They can download invitations by following the WeChat account called "The Voice of Wen Tour in Xi'an" by Xi'an Culture and Tourism Bureau

With the invitation, visitors can enter Banpo Museum for free from August 5 to August 9 to enjoy the artworks of the exhibition.
